Q: How do I rent the wheels I would like?
A: Simply go to the Book Now page and complete these steps:

  1. Browse our selection of wheels. We’ve got a wide range of fantastic wheels available.
  2. Select how long you would like to rent the wheels for. You can hire them for just the weekend or for up to 2 weeks.
  3. Wheels will be delivered on the first day of your rental. Simply unpack them, fit them to your steed and away you go! Try not to damage the packaging because this will be needed to return your wheels.

Q: When will my wheels arrive?
A: Wheels will be delivered on the first day of your rental. If you're renting them for the weekend, they will be delivered on the Friday. Please make sure that you're available to sign for the delivery. The wheels will arrive in a secure box that can be re-used for returning your wheels.

Q: What do I need to do once they arrive?
A: Your wheels will arrive without tires, but will include skewers.  Simply, fit your chosen tyres, swap your wheels over and you're ready to go! Take your new wheels for a quick spin to make sure everything is working correctly before race day.

Q: Do I need insurance?
A: All of our wheels come with insurance included in the cost for extra peace of mind. Our standard insurance policy has a damage liability of £250. Accidents do happen; crashes and large potholes can come out of nowhere and this is where insurance becomes vital! Please see our Terms and Conditions for details of our insurance cover.

Q: What is damage liability reduction?
A: Damage Liability Reduction is available on all of our wheels. Reduction of liability from £250 to £0 is available for £10 per day. Damage liability waiver may be withdrawn at any time at the discretion of Kudos Wheels management.

Q: Do I need to fit special brake pads?
A: The short answer is no. Carbon pads are not required when using carbon wheels, but they will help you stop better in wet conditions.

Q: What’s my time savings in each particular wheel set?
A: Here are some details from www.zipp.com. Starting with a standard aluminium box section rim as baseline, and assuming an output of 300 watts, you can expect to save 60 seconds per hour with a set of Zipp 404s and 80 seconds per hour with a set of Zipp 808s. If you average less than 300 watts you can expect to see even greater time savings.

Q: Do you rent out single wheels?
A: No.
